EFT Laws

EFT is a very useful form of money transfer, which is easy to use and works fast. Like any other process, EFT too has its set of laws. As of now, U.S. consumers have become more accustomed to the conveniences of electronic payments and EFT. The fact that the volume of ACH transactions has grown by 15% or more for more than five years, and is projected to grow strongly throughout 2010, is proof of this. A large number of EFTs are processed every day. Its popularity makes it necessary to maintain strict laws and regulations so that all these procedures are correctly processed.

They even use network security procedures like installing secure FTPs (file transfer protocol) or ETPs (enhanced transfer protocol) to ensure secure capture, storage and distribution of financial information. EFT is decidedly a very useful low cost, secure payment mechanism, which has made money transfer procedures very easy. However, it is essential that these processes be made as secure as possible. Otherwise, it will do more harm than good
